SHIPPING POLICY

Having said that, a Shipping Policy is a legally binding document that is meant to establish the legal relations between you and your customers. It is the legal framework for presenting your obligations to your customers, but also to address different possible scenarios that may occur, and what happens in each and every case. 

 

A Shipping Policy is a good practice and it helps both sides - you and your customers. Your customers may benefit from being informed about what they can expect from your service. You may benefit because people may be likely to shop with you if you have a clear Shipping Policy in place since there won't be any questions about your shipping timeframes or processes.

Order Processing and Delivery Timeline

Once your payment is confirmed, we begin preparing your order for shipment. Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days. After dispatch, shipping generally takes 7–14 business days, depending on the delivery method, customs clearance, and local conditions in Sri Lanka. This means that your order will usually arrive within 10–17 business days from the date of purchase.

While we strive to meet this estimated timeline, please note that international delivery may occasionally be delayed due to factors beyond our control, such as public holidays, customs inspections, weather disruptions, or courier service delays.

Shipping Methods, Fees, and Customs

All orders are shipped via EMS (Express Mail Service) or Japan Post Registered Mail, both of which are secure and trackable international carriers. Shipping charges are based on the official rates set by EMS or Japan Post, and are calculated according to the size and weight of your package.

Please be aware that customs duties, taxes, or import fees may be levied by Sri Lankan authorities upon arrival. These charges are not included in your checkout total and must be paid by the customer if applicable. We recommend checking with your local customs office for more information regarding potential charges or restrictions on imported goods.

We do not ship from local stores or third-party distributors in Sri Lanka — all products are dispatched directly from Japan, the country of origin, to ensure authenticity and product integrity.

What to include in the Shipping Policy

To ensure successful delivery, please make sure your shipping address is complete and accurate at checkout. If an order is returned to us due to an incorrect address, failed delivery attempt, or unclaimed parcel, we may charge additional fees to re-ship your package.

If your parcel arrives damaged, opened, or appears tampered with, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery and include clear photographs of the package and its contents. We will assist you in resolving the issue promptly. In cases of delayed or lost shipments, we will coordinate with the shipping provider to investigate and offer support where possible.
